The British Culture Week in Cuba, to be held October 12-27, will boost even more the ongoing relation between Cuba and the UK.
The program Islas Creativas (Creative Islands), sponsored by the British Council, fosters the cultural communication between both countries and contributes to the staging of the play entitled Los amores de Marte y Venus (The Loves of Mars and Venus) by the Cuban Contemporary Dance (DCC).

This 6th edition will focus on the development and potential of the creative industry and knowledge exchange among leading artistic expressions in both nations such as dance, film production, visual arts, and the English teaching in Cuba.
Playwright Jazz Martínez Gamboa will exhibit (October 16, 17,18,23,24, 25) at the Llauradó Theater Hall, a brilliant adaptation of the Shakespeare’s play Ricardo III, starred only by women.
To give a grand finale to the British Culture Week in Cuba, a great night full of singing and dancing is being summoned at Multicine Infanta (Infanta Movie Theater) where it will be screened the cult film The Rocky Horror Picture Show, an icon of comedy, horror, and musical films.
