The 36th Havana’s International Ballet Festival Alicia Alonso will be held on October 28th. It will be dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the National Ballet of Cuba and the 75th anniversary of the Cuban legendary ballerina’s debut with her memorable characterization of Giselle.
The American Ballet Theater —with a unique relation with the origin of the Cuban ballet company—, the New York City Ballet, the St. Petersburg’s Mariinsky Ballet Theater, and the London’s Royal Ballet will also attend the Festival.
Artists from the National Ballet of Norway, the Berlin State Ballet, the Milan’s Scala, and the Teatro Colon from Buenos Aires, will also dance in Havana.
